FCA Inaugural “24 Hours of Pickleball”
FCA 24 Hours of Pickleball Ministry Fundraiser
We completed our first 24 hours of pickleball FCA fundraising event and it was a huge success ! HUGE shout out to Tracey Setzer who was here with Dan Castilleja (FCA) from 7:30am Friday morning until the event started at noon, and then stayed to volunteer until it ended at noon Saturday, and we closed the event down at 2:30pm Saturday. That’s 31 straight hours.
TONS of other volunteers:
- Jeffrey White for picking up the nets at Bones Jones.
- Justin Sullivan for hauling the nets back to Bones Jones in Morganton.
- Craig, owner at Bones Jones for loaning us professional nets for this event.
- Julie Cross for the introduction to craig at Bones Jones.
- Zach Setzer dinner & for helping wherever was needed.
- Allan Williams for Pizza, Donuts & Coffee.
- Lance Shealy for signs, welcome intros to players, sound system setup and helping wherever was need.
- Tiffany Willis for her organizational support.
- Channing Moose for helping instruct of manning the paddle table.
- Charles Mackey for keeping track of names and scores at the Midnight Madness Tournament.
- Shawn & Jon McCutchan for coming up from South carolina for the Midnight Madness.
- OHMP for use of the Tate Center for the event.
